April 2017

Updated as of April 29, 2017 -- In an interview with EIR Asia expert Mike Billington regarding President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, Virginia State Senator and former Pentagon head lawyer Richard Black said that the Americans and other nations should not intervene and respect the Filipino culture because Filipinos know more of what their own country needs.

Black also claimed that the Americans have a tendency to impose their supposed "higher intellect" on other cultures.

Black was a chief  in the criminal law division in the  Pentagon.
The senator stated that Dutere was once mayor in a lawless city and he was ruthless to criminals, therefore bringing law and order into the city.

That's why he said that majority of Filipinos voted for him.

"The people of the Philippines elected Rodrigo Duterte since they wanted law and order, and he gave it to them. They have chosen a very strong ruler."

He also mentioned that the United States had a war on drugs but it was immediately eradicated by politicians and now the drug situations is worse.

In dealing with drugs, the US should get inspiration from the Philippines where the president viewed it as a war and not just a police action, as their situation on drug trade is getting worse.

In the declaration of Duterte to separate PH from the US, Black said that US is to blame as the government should have dealt with PH in  a more sensitive fashion.

He said the Chinese offered assistance, while the US offered condemnation.

"It would be a shame to lose our alliance with the Philippines" the senator said.

The Moro National Liberation (MNLF) spokesman Emmanuel Fantanilla said they are willing to share information to help the Duterte administration on the involvement of some law enforcer and government officials in the illegal activities of Abu Sayyaf.

“Police and military action against Abu Sayyaf bandits will not address kidnapping…unless their protectors are exposed,” Fontanilla said.

He said kidnapping by Abu Sayyaf bandits involves government assets who pinpoint target areas and personalities.

“Kidnapping has become a lucrative business because the victims, particularly foreigners, pay ransom for the release of their relatives. The ransom runs to millions of dollars,” Fontanilla said. “Everyone who kidnaps, shelters and negotiates for ransom gets his share.”

“The Abu Sayyaf would be hitting two birds with one stone – taking hostages for ransom and at the same time embarrassing President Duterte before the international community,” Fontanilla said.

Fontanilla said police Superintendent Maria Cristina Nobleza and her Abu Sayyaf lover Reneer Lou Dongon could be the key to identifying government officials with links to the Abu Sayyaf.

De La Salle University's Professor of Political Science Antonio Contreras in his Facebook page shared the story of a netizen he refused to name about her family's problem with the narcotics trade.

This is in line with the recent statement of Vice President Leni Robredo that Methampethamine should be decriminalized in the country to solve the problem in the illegal drug trade.

The netizen said that she came from a slum area in Quezon City and worked as a labandera, while her father and brother were drug addicts.

She said that her father even defended the rapists of her autistic sister.

She asked for a clear distinction between legalization and decriminalization of shabu so that she and the rest of the country will be enlightened.

Read full unedited and raw story below:

Sir Ton, dito ko na lang po ssabihin yung naiisip ko, ayaw kong mabasa ng public, wag nyo na i-grammar nazi ang message ko, hindi po ako nag college.

we used to lived in a slum area in QC, kung saan papasok ka pa lang sa eskinita, alam ko na kung ano pakay mo..

being a lavandera before, me and my nanay never resorted to drugs, the user was my father, a tambay who steals fr his wife and children's hard earned money sometimes disappearing for a few weeks, madalas dun sya nagtatago sa caloocan, daming pusher dun eh.

but, we never considered him as a CRIMINAL, we labelled him as an irresponsible father and then my mother's health detoriarated, dahil sa hirap, imbes pambili na lang gamot nya, ibibili na lang namin ng ilang kilong bigas, kape, asukal.. finally, she died, leaving us with nothing.

my father will never give his life for us, kinampihan nya pa nga yung adik na nang reyp sa autistic sister ko, to save my younger siblings fr all that hell, inuwi ko sila sa probinsya.. dun sila nag stay.
Naikulong nga yung mga big time pusher, kaso naging big time druglord naman nung nsa bilibid na.. LUMEVEL UP kumbaga.

thank you po.

Filipina Doctor Ethel Pineda on her Facebook page heavily criticized Vice President Leni Robredo of being incompetent in her position and the same time of being abusive.

The doctor said that she wished Robredo did not take the support of the Liberal Party which they previosuly offered to former senator Grace Poe.

She also reminded the VP of how President Benigno Aquino III's men searched her condominium for evidenciary documents proving the corruption of her husband, Jesse Robredo after he died, and his term as the Interior and Local Government Secretary during Aquino's term was put to a halt.

She also criticized how Robredo praised Pampanga Governor Lilia Pineda, one whom she claims is involved with illegal gambling particularly Jueteng in their area.

" Nalaglag ang baba ko, pakipulot sa sahig. Ngayon ay hindi na ako masyadong nagtataka. May pinanggagalingan siguro ang paghanga mo. Dahil sa mga balitang lumalabas ngayon, marahil di kayo masyadong nagkakaiba."Iyo ang Pampanga, akin ang Naga," she said.

She said that the people need only wait for the result of the electoral protest filed by former Senator Bongbong Marcos against Robredo for alleged electoral fraud.

"Ang sabi ng mga matematiko, may statistical improbability. Bukod diyan, may nabuking sa mga PCOS machines. No one can trample upon our sacred right to vote. Diyan lamang nagkaka-pantay pantay ang mga Pilipino. Ang isang boto ng senyora sa Forbes Park ay katumbas ng isang boto ng kanyang muchacha. Wag mo kaming dayain. We take that personally," she said.

Bruce V. Rivera got a strong evidence that retired cop and self confessed Davao Death Squad hitman Arthur Lascañas will stay in Singapore for safety reasons.

A Filipina who looks like a Singaporean spotted the retired cop carrying his baggage in Changi Airport.

Lascañas was unaware that his seat mate is a Filipina from Davao City who is a supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte.

The source said that she noticed Lascañas talking over the phone using Visayan Dialect and she heard the retired cop saying: “Sabihin mo kay Sir Sonny na dumating na ako,”

Lascañas may be referring to Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, the one who backed him to testify against President Rodrigo Duterte in the Senate.

Atty. Rivera believes that her source is not lying because she’s from Davao City where President Rodrigo Duterte became a public servant for 22 years.

He also asked if Lascañas is there to escape the case that might be filed against him or he’s only going to spend his holy week vacation in Singapore.

Netizens already thinking if Senator Antonio Trillanes IV funded the trip of Arthur Lascañas and his family to Singapore.

They even noticed the pricey luggages of Lascañas, an evidence that someone really funded his trip.
