Nangako si Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe na tutulong ito sa kampanya ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa illegal drugs.
Sinabi ni PM Abe sa kanilang joint statement ni Pangulong Duterte, hindi lamang sa paglaban sa illegal drugs ang susuportahan ng Japan pero handa rin sila na tumulong sa pagpapatayo ng mga drug rehab centers.
“On countering illegal drugs, we want to work together with the Philippines to think of relevant measures of support,” paliwanag ni Abe na dumating sa bansa kahapon para sa 2-araw na state visit.
